Alphabet Tree Finish

I don't know what's wrong with me. All that I'm certain of is that no matter how hard I try, my eye lids won't stay up. I'm ready for a long nap. And that's convenient because Cuddle Bug just went down for his. Today is going to be a better nap day for the little monster than yesterday - I can just feel it!

Despite my lack of energy, I did manage to take pictures today.

Here is the Alphabet Tree finished up. Now I just need to get to work on the pinkeep finishing, but that requires (another) trip to the craft store.

And finally here's a picture of the new goodies the mailman delivered yesterday. I got the "Love and Faithfulness Thread Pack" from LHN/CC and Mary Kathryn of eHandcrafts threw in a free LHN/CC chart as well. It made my day!

Today I made it out to Target. I needed a small set of plastic storage drawers to organize some little crafting supplies. I got Cuddle Bug a little pad of paper and some other small stuff. But I managed to forget the one real necessity I went there for: size 4 Pampers Cruisers. Ugh. So now I have to make another trip out sometime today. It's moments like this I wonder how I ever left DH talk me into the idea that 'sposies are so much more convenient than the cloth we were using up until a year ago. Oh well. Such is the story of motherhood I suppose.

I'm off to read everyone's blogs. I've gotten over my shyness and fear of leaving comments and now I try to comment as often as possible. I so enjoy reading all of your wonderful blogs! And thank you all for visiting mine :)

Alphabet Tree is such a pretty finish!

I do the same thing all the time when I go to the store. The one thing I go for I completely forget to get! Perfect example was today I forgot to pick up some milk..lol.:)

Aren't pampers cruisers THE best??? Zack wears the 5 and I think it's a crying shame how they put less in the box as the size gets bigger. You'd think they could cram them in there! LOL Anyhoo, love those pampers. I tried the Target brand but they were a nogo for my munchkin. Besides the carebear pattern was freaking DH out. LOL

Lovely stitching. I enjoy your Blog very much!

Hope you're getting more sleep tonight!

Wow, your alphabet tree came out beautifully.... such wonderful colors!

Don't you just hate it when you return proudly from errands without the one thing you really went out for!!!! Ugh.

Your alphabet tree is so sweet..can't wait to see how you finish it! I'll send you a picture of my mailart before it goes out. I don't want to put it on my blog because I think she's a reader and it is supposed to be a surprise. : ) If you're interested in doing one, I'll hook you up with a group.

Cuddlebug must be similar in age/size to Gia. She is in the 3-Cruisers size. We never used cloth, and in my opinion, you're a brave woman for doing it! LOL!! Unfortunately, while I love pampers, is it too much to ask that there be NO disney, Sesame Street, etc. characters on them? How about plain white? Elmo is the love of Gia's life and whenever he is on the front, she tends to pull her pants/skirt/whatever off so she can touch and talk to him! JOY!!

Do you get your comments to e mail?
If not I left one on the Easter blog for you.

Nice pkg. from the mailman and the chart is a cute addition from the store as well.

Oh it turned out wonderfully, Kim! You are really going like gangbusters. I can't wait to see it all finished up.

I remember those Pampers Cruisers days. Do you know it took me weeks to figure out that the sides were velcroed so you didn't have to pull them off? That was a red letter day!

Very nice finish.

We all forget things we intented to buy when we went to the store. It is like the store's way to get you back a second time.

Enjoy your quiet time when Cuddle Bug is napping.
